My 5meters rib which has a step hull is going to be ready at the end of 2021.I am fishing at 50-180 meters and I am going to buy navnet 3 12" and dff3d.
My question is if someone has managed to work the dff3d with an in-hull transducer .
If this is not possible and i put the 165T-TM54 transducer , because of the step in my hull, will I have a 3d operation on my display at the speed of 3-4 miles?
And last is it better a compo transducer for dff3d like165T-50/200-TM260 or two separates .
Forgive my english .

Panos,

The DFF3D does offer a Pocket Mount option, the 165T-CM54. There is no "In-Hull" option that is offered for the DFF3D.

In regards to the question of using a 165-TM54 transducer greater than 2-5 knots. The performance of the transducer all depends on the placement of the 165-TM54 that it is not subjected to any type of turbulence that would impair the transducer's performance.

The 165T-50/200-TM260 is a "Combo Transducer" that is one transducer that houses the 165kHz elements for the DFF3D, and the High/Low Elements of a 50/200 kHz.
