Chart Updates/Any Guidance

Hello all,
First post and brand new boat owner with NavNet TZ2 installed but didn't get any manuals with the boat. I live in Georgia and the inland maps don't seem to have any detail. The east coast maps are detailed however.. Also, have the UHD Digital Radar but doesn't display any weather data. I realize it must be user error but can anyone point me in the right direction to integrate all this technology? I've sent an email to Furuno so waiting on a response. Really appreciate any help.

Thanks for the reply. Very helpful. I downloaded four charts that I thought would help improve the details displayed on the chartplotter. They were USR, USS and USV charts for eastern US. I downloaded them onto a USB stick and connected to the back of my Furuno NavNet TZ2. It didn't seem to do anything. Is the chart update automatic or do I initiate it somehow?

The TZT2 can read charts from the micro card (fastest) or the USB. To read from the USB the files must be unzipped and the USB must be in place before powering up so the charts can index. Only the licence free charts will show unless you have inserted unlock codes for any licence charts. I normally give the unit the first couple of minutes to index all the charts before looking for them. The more charts you have, the longer it will take to index.
