Yamaha command screen

Any chance the Yamaha engine screen is using standard PGN’s that are sent from the command link or is it a proprietary code being sent?

If it’s just PGN’s then it might display some of my engine data nicely...

Yamaha Command Link screen will work with TZT2 running 5.02+ software. Here is a link to a document we have that further goes into detail of how to get everything connected, what engines are compatible, and parts needed.

I've always wondered about the "Troll Mode" for the Yamaha OB's. Is this just something that is done digitally with the computers talking to each other or is there some option that you need on your Yamaha OB for it to work?

I have 2007 F150s and have never tried to use the Troll Mode. I use the sabiki mode with my autopilot quite a bit and the only thing it's missing is the ability to automatically speed up the motors a bit to keep the stern into the wind.

I would think that Troll Mode must be something that only the newer Yamaha OBs can support since I'm not aware of any remote way of throttling my F150s up or down without moving the cables.

And sorry to hijack this thread, I can post a separate thread if you feel it's better.

I would refer to your Yamaha engine operators manual for what "troll mode" is.
