White Screen FCV 587

The white screen of death Fish Finder FCV 587 unit is 10 years old. Has never given me any problems till now. 12 v any trouble shooting hints please

Sounds like the LCD assembly which would cost almost as much as a newer unit. JNTayor is the distributor over there, you might talk to them to see if they have a used unit or pulled parts that might help you with this one.

Check the 2V power connectionand cables for corrosion or looseness. If power is stable, a soft reset might help. If the issue persists, the display may need servicing.
