I see in the Furuno tuning guide that all the filters should be turned off before starting..including white line. I guess I didnt realise that white line is a filter, but now I get it. Does it have any negative effect on the water column signal display, or is it's filtering restricted entirely to the bottom signal and has no potential to reduce fish finding..?
