Which Autopilot pump?? 16-12 vs 17-12

45 Cabo Express. Steering ram measures right around 20 Cubic Inches. This will be using a Navpilot 300PG.

Do you recommend the Furuno Pump 16-12 over the 17-12?? They look to offer similar flow/ capacity but the 17-12 looks more robust. Im not sure if there is a real-world difference???

What pilot are you going to use? NP700 series or NP300 series?

Nevermind....I had to make a decision and went with the OCT pump. Hopefully it works well.

Unless you intend to purchase and run the FPS power assist module, I would strongly suggest the 16-12. If you ever need quick answers, calling tech support provides faster results.
