Hi all,
I am interested on the use of radars to prevent birdstrikes at airports.I am preparing a project proposal to use radars to detect birds and other wildlife inside the airport. I need information such as flight speed, wing beat, direction, number of individuals, etc. to determine the species involved. My question is what kind of radar do you reccommend to do this survey? From what I read in litterature I need a radar with doppler, but I don't know much else. I will appreciate any comments on the issue.
