What connector is on the end of the FI5001 wind sensor?

I've purchased the FI70DSW instrument starter pack and I have a question about wiring the FI5001 wind transducer.

Based on the instructions, my understanding is that I need to connect the wind transducer cable to the IF-NMEAFI converter (the converter connects to the NMEA2000 bus/CANBus) - I'm clear on the wiring instructions for the FI-NMEAFI - but what is confusing me is that there is a connector on the end of the wind transducer cable. Obviously I can just cut off the plug, but I want to make sure I have the right idea and find out what the connector is for.

Thanks.
Jordan.

The wind transducer will have a short cable with connector that will connect to your main cable to run down the mast. The longer cable will have a connector designed to connect to the back of the older FI50 series instruments. You will have to cut this connector and wire on the IF-NMEAFI converter for your NMEA 2000 bus.
