waypoints wont save to ssd card

I have an old 7000F that I'm upgraded to a 1971 F. wanted to move my old waypoints with an SSD card, but he 7000F has been Saving for about 2 hours now. Someone told me maybe the SSD card needs to reformatted to an Older version.. Anyone know if this is true and if so how to do it.

You should use a 1 or 2GB or less blank memory card (depending on your software version) to save points on. By the sound of it maybe your SD card is too big for the machine. If you have a smaller card that isn't working, I recommend you initialize it in the GP7000 before trying to save data.
