Greetings to all.

We have a WASSP F3 ( MULTIBEAM SONAR) unit and the "Cursor Depth" suddenly stop displaying and data - see screenshot of monitor

Curser Depth.jpg

Mapping is still working - no depth data.

I have checked all the cables and made sure they are secure.

Not sure what I should do next.

Many thanks

Good morning boatyard paul,

Thank you for your inquiry. Typically this forum is not a place to address commercial fisheries support cases, it is normally best with these products to address the support of the fishery products with your local dealer or Furuno agent in your region.

For this case I will try to work with you about your concerns. The photo you provided is quite zoomed so it is hard to see the full scope of the CDX software display. I loaded CDX 3.9.382.4051, the same as your vessel. When on the chart display my databox looks a little different than yours. In my data box on the chart display it does not have a place to show depth? I have made a quick video that explains this and also explains more about the depth at cursor. Please see link below.

Please confirm that when you place your cursor over an area that has previously been mapped that no depth at cursor is available, not in the data box but a depth number directly by the cursor like the video? Also if you could provide a larger scale photo of screen that would be helpful to know exactly what is happening.

If this is the case I would recommend:
1.) Back up all you mapped data, if you have not done this before it is a good idea, I typically keep an extra external hard drive around to back up my mapped data periodically.
2.) Try reloading CDX software version 3.9.382.4051

Your feedback is really appreciated, I will certainly reload the software and let you know what happens.
Thanks for taking the time to make a video, I understand exactly what you are saying.
Kind regards
