VX2 Update Links

I recently replaced my RDP-139 with a RDP-149 serial # 4345-7845 system #195002403.01.04.
I don't see any update links on your website. I know it's an old OS and I would like to update it to the most current OS. The display didn't come with a C-Card installed so I purchased a new card but it came on a 4mb SD card formatted to Fat32 and the system won't read the card. So I am in the process of returning the C-Card and in the mean time I wanted to update the system.

I called tech support and they want me to send it to them. The problem is that our summers up here in Alaska are soo short that I can't do it until fall. I understand that if I were to update to 1.06 that I can then update to 4.03*. Is 1.06 still available?

I think you have gone down the wrong path. By the sound of it, you have told support you have 1.04 software. (and wish to go to 1.06) Based on the program number you first listed in this thread, you do NOT have 1.04 software. You have 3.01 software with boot loader 04.
Support would be correct that it has to come in if you had 1.04 because it would require a hardware modification. The fact is if your program number is what you said; you have 3.01 software. The odd thing is that program number would be for a C-map Vx2 (RDP149), yet you said you have a RDP139. I am confused. Can you confirm your unit is an RDP149 or RDP139? Can you reconfirm your full program number?

Sorry about the confusion I thought the last 4 digits were the system number.
I changed out my rdp-139 for an rdp-149. The serial number for the unit is 4378-7845 and the system number is 195002403.01.04.

We have no record of that serial number. It must not have been sold by Furuno USA. The software indicates it is currently programmed for C-map Vx2 version 3.01. You can bring up the product page (say 1944C/NT) on our website (http://www.FurunoUSA.com) and you will find the software and instructions posted there to upgrade the unit to the newest version (4.03). 3.01 will have no problems upgrading to 4.03. You do not need to send your unit in.

Just like others before, I just got a boat second hand with a Navnet VX2.. and its old software that I'd like to update.

Software number ; 195002401.07, 04 / C-MAP NT MAX
Display : RDP-149
Serial : 4326-4385
Antenna Unit: RSB-0094

Do I need to step-update?
Can you send me links to the versions I need to install?

It is best not to hijack forum threads. Your software is 1.07 for Cmap and can be upgraded with the software and instructions posted under the product on our website.
