Using NEMA 2k alarm for DRS4DNXT

Good morning,

I have a DRS4DNXT being run off TimeZero pro and a TZT3 9F. Off the same computer that runs the Time Zero I have Maretron tank level sensors with a NEMA 2000 alarm bell.

Is there any way to use the N2K alarm bell for radar alarms off the either Time Zero or the TZT. I would ideally be able to use the external alarm while in crowded anchorages with a guard ring to warn me of boats dragging anchor or as a second means of anchor drag alarm.

Hello Nube,

Happy New Year. The TZT9F's multi-port functionality allows for the connection of an external buzzer, as demonstrated in the diagram provided below. When an alarm feature is activated on the TZT display, it will not only trigger an alert on the display but also transmit the alarm signal to the connected buzzer.
