Used AIS FA50

I have a used AIS FA50.
Is connecting it to a Navnet V2 a problem, in the manual it mentions a login/password only known to the dealer!
Is setting the FA50 up for a new vessel possible.

Connecting the FA50 to NAVnet vx2 is fine. You can do it via Ethernet or NMEA0183. To change the MMSI and other ship static data, simply use the username: 'furunoservice' and password: 'fa50'. This login information is included with each new FA50 sold.
