Updating TZtouch2 and DFF!-UHD

Hello-
I have a new to me 29' Everglades that has a TZtouch2 12" that is running software version 3.01 and the DFF1-UHD is running version 1.03.
I contacted the local Furuno dealer and they said they are 6 weeks out in work.

Questions:
Can a somewhat computer literate person perform upgrade?
Are there any videos available?
Can your support team offer phone support if needed? What are hours available on East Coast time?

The above unit is paired with Airmar B175C-20-HW and Airmar B175C-20-L transducers.

I primary fish on the west Coast Florida out of Clearwater Beach and stay in water 14'-200'. Are these transducers best for bottom fishing this area?

I never personally used or tested those transducers on the water but looking at the specs for them, they should be good with the depths of water you are fishing in.
