TZTouch and DFF-1 network connection problem

I recently purchased a used DDF1to add to my TZTouch network. I did the factory reset on the DDF1. Set the switches for TZTouch and 1KW transducer. I tried connecting it directly to the TZ14 and to the Hub 101 but I can not get the DDF1 to show up on the sensor list. I do have a depth/temp N2K transducer also on the NMEA backbone and an Airmar M260 transducer into the back of the DDF1. Any suggestions on anything else I might try before I send it in for service? Think I may have found a solution. DFF1 might need a software update.

Yes, older DFF1 sounders would require a software update. Good Job. Hopefully you find this resolves your problem.
