Is there a combo transducer for TZtouch3 with deep impact amplifier and a dff3d? Similar to Furuno connections season 1. Looking for at least 2kw for the deep impact.

Thanks in advance

Anyone know a dealer or someone who sells this package?

Hey guys,

Is this package still valid and currently available? Specifically the combo pocket transducer. Finally got the funds to upgrade my electronics.

I was told by furuno tech support that the transducer above in the link is only compatible with the FCV1900 and would not work with the TZT3. has that changed?

I think you and the tech had some miscommunications. To use with the TZT3 you do need the DI box; maybe that is the misunderstanding. You can't directly connect to the TZT3, that would true but you can use the TZT3 sounder with the DI box and this transducer.

Here is a link to all the DFF3D combo transducers.

The 165T-PM542LM page lists the suggested possible sounders.Capture.JPG959.JPG

I finally upgraded. Just waiting for the combo transducer thats on back order. Being a complete newbie to MFDs and black box, I was wondering on the proper installation of this system. Can anyone provide any insights regarding installing these components. Are there any accessories that I need to get before I start installation? Looks like I might need an ethernet HUB 101 for the DFF-3D. Is a NMEA 2000 backbone needed as well?

Thanks in advance.

You don't require a hub unless your network wires out number the ports on the MFD. Unless you are needing a hub to run 24v; I would save a few bucks and use an off the shelf hub with the TZT3. Power sync feature offered by HUB101 isn't used or needed with TZT3. While the hub101 is a good product, unless you need something special from it (like running 24v or power sync) I would save the cash for a diffrent upgrade. If you have NMEA 2000 items; yes you will want to build a 2000 bus and connect all the NMEA 2000 items to the bus. If you only have the MFDs and no other 2000 items then you don't have to have a bus. If you build a bus, all MFDs should be connected to it.

Thank you. As soon as I get the transducer I will take a much closer look at the installation. I will plan for no hub and still deciding if I will add NMEA 2000.
