TZTL15F and NN3D

Hi,

I know everything I read and have heard says TZTL15F and NN3D cannot reside on the same network.

But, when I look at the document - navnet_tztouch2_system_overview.pdf, section 6-12 No Network with NavNet 3D, it shows a NavNet TZtouch TZTL12F/15F connected to the HUB where the NavNet 3D MFD8/12/BB is also connected. Additionally it shows the two connected to the same NMEA2000 bus. Are these correct connections or incorrect?

What happens if it is connected in this fashion?

The text says Do NOT mix......, but the diagram shows the connections. If it is incorrect, I would suggest a big red X over the diagram.

TZT2 is NOT compatible in a network with NN3D. That is why it is in bold type on the section you mention.

I will ask that an X be placed on the document.

Can the NN3D and the TZTL15F be connected to the same NMEA2000 bus?

Yes, they can be on the same NMEA 2000 bus.
