TZTL12F Software Update Greyed Out

I just got my TZTL12F and am trying to get it set up. I have connected it to wifi, I can see the IP and get weather/tide info. When I go to the general menu, check for software update and social network login/logout is greyed out. Why is that?

In the past the wifi update feature would only offer to update the unit if there was a APP update that didn't include OS changes. With most updates having OS changes, it rarely worked, and confused customers. The software would say no update available when there was, only because it also included an OS change. Japan is currently in process of changing that feature it is currently inactive. At the moment, all updates must be done via software from our website.
