TZTL 15F N2k question

New (to me) boat with some older electronics integrated with the MFD via the N2K connection. Some of the "sensor list" items on the MFD do not align with the tags e.g. an older Airmar Smart Tri Multisensor is listed as an DST 200 when the label on the transducer has an Airmar part nr that equals a DST 800. Is my MFD reading the connected equipment ID thru PGN 126996? Is there a way to read a specific PGN without special gear?
 
What you see is normal. That is what is provided/shown. In regards to the naming, you can always use the NickNaming feature and call it what ever you want. Like "Port DST800" The TZTL does have a port monitor for looking at NMEA 2000 data if you want to play with it. It is under the Service Man selection.
 
Thanks Johnny. Where is the port monitor you refered to? Is "service man" on the MFD menu or did you refer to a separate Service Manual? Thanks for your help.
