TZTBBX - feature clarification

Hi,

I have been waiting to upgrade electronics (my current systems are Furuno based but stand-alone (ie ancient) based on the TXTBBX launch, the XL appears to be a significant upgrade over the TZT3 series (in my opinion, obsoleting all previous models). Reading though all the posted information on the Furuno site I am left with several questions below in red.

From the FAQ
Q3. BB Can standard touch PC monitors be used with the TZTBBX?
Yes. The TZTBBX can use standard widescreen and non-widescreen touch type PC monitors that are HDMI compatible. Non-touch screen monitors are also compatible. It is recommended that monitors be tested for compatibility with the TZTBBX before the monitor is installed. Just like TZtouchXL MFDs, the TZTBBX supports dual point touch only. Any touch monitor that requires a driver to be loaded into the TZTBBX will not work. The TZTBBX can use PC monitors that are either HDMI or DVI compatible (with an adapter plug). Non-marine monitors are not recommended for outside installations or in high bright areas. Also consider nighttime viewing for installations using non-marine grade monitors.

Question: I read/researched extensively on touch monitors for the prior model BB. 2 touch monitors are very outdated and nearly impossible to find, and in theory multi-touch monitors may/not work with the new system. I understand drivers CANNOT be uploaded, but to not support multi-touch is disappointing. I wish to use 2 monitors 24" or 27" in an enclosed helm. Is this a future upgrade that will be available?

Q4. BB Does the TZTBBX have two video outputs like the TZT2BB?
No, unlike the TZT2BB, the TZTBBX has one video output

Question: Does the BBX support 2 monitors via daisy chain or multi-display support? If it does support multi-display, are you able to control each monitor display separately? To me this is a critical feature to drive at least 2 monitors, otherwise what is the purpose of the BBX?

I have been waiting for new BBX to start the upgrade and hopefully someone can clarify the above questions. I was hoping for multi-touch display support, multi-monitors, and other enhancements.

Thank-you
-Kevin
