TZT3 16 optional mounting

Hi. I would like to mount my TZT3 16 from the cabin roof instead of a cabinet.

Is this possible?

The two concerns are first the bracket which would require modification to work and the other is possible vibrations at that location. If the unit gets hammered with heavy impact waves and vibrations it will reduce the life of the unit. While they don't recommend overhead mounting, it has been done on several installs that I am an aware of without problems. The bracket has some tabs that will need cut off and then the knob holes will need to be drilled. The way it is now, the existing slot in the bracket would allow the unit to fall if the knobs loosen while in an overhead position.
