TZT2 not detecting DST800L

My TZT2(running the latest V9.8 version) is unable to detect the DST800L, even though the device appears normally in the RD33 Device List and is transmitting data correctly.

We have already checked all wiring connections,I don't know what went wrong.

Please check the SENSOR LIST under CAN BUS DEVICES, do you see anything labeled DSTxxx. Please attach a picture of the list.

If you do see it in the SENSOR LIST, go to DATA SOURCES and select the DSTxxx for SST (temp), DEPTH, and speed through water (STW)

I have a DST810 and have noticed that it does not appear on the sensor list from time to time. The issue seems to be related to the sequence in which the devices are turned on. If the DST810 is powered up and running when the first TZT3 displays boots up (should be same for TZT2), I will see the DST810 on the sensor list and its data will be on the TZT3s. But if the DST810 is not running, sometimes -- not always -- it does not appear on the sensor list. I also had a similar problem with my SCX-20 satellite compass when one of my starting batteries was getting weak. If I started that motor after the electronics were powered up, the house batteries would get bridged by the combiner and there would be a momentary voltage drop on the NMEA2000 bus from cranking over the big Diesel. That would cause the SCX-20 to reboot and it would not show up any more on the TZT3s. The only fix was to shut down all the electronics, turn off the power, and restart the NMEA 2000 devices and then the TZT3s.

As noted above, the most basic initial check is whether the DST800 is on the TZT2 sensor list. You said you see it on an RD33 but did not mention whether it shows on the TZT2 device list.

Dear all,

I couldn’t find any DTXXX device listed in the Sensor List, nor is it available in the Data Sources menu.

However, it’s strange that the DT200 is visible on the Service page and appears to be transmitting data normally.
