I finally have sea temperature on the sonar....thank you Titanic II.
I have the SCX-20 satellite compass.
Now I'm trying to set up the heaving correction data in the Fish finder Menu under Transducer Set up menu.
From what I'm understand in the manual the Antenna Position: Bow to Stern is Measured from the Antenna to the Transducer.
In my case the transducer is aft of the antenna so I enter a Negative value of measurement. Is this correct?
This is the confusing one:
The Antenna Position for the Up/Down is measured from the waterline to the Antenna. The Antenna is located on the forward port side of the T Top. The transducer is located to the stern on the starboard side, do I enter a value of 0.00?
The directions say: "If the transducer is located on the bow side enter a positive value." A negative value ca not be entered.
The antenna is 8.0 feet above the transducer .
Antenna Port/Starboard: As I mentioned the Antenna unit is on the forward port side on the T top. The transducer is aft and starboard side. I enter a positive measurement. Correct?
Thanks,
Mike
