TZT12F with Raymarine EV-1 Heading sensor

We have a TZTouch 2 12 as the primary MFD on our Carolina Classic 28. The boat also came with a Raymarine Evolution autopilot with the EV-1 heading sensor. Right now the seatalk and nmea2k networks are separate, but if I connect the two, will the TZTouch be able to make use of the Raymarine heading sensor? I'd like to be able to overlay my radar onto my charts.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If the RM Heading sensor outputs in NMEA 2000, and the TZT2 plotter has a NMEA 2000 drop in the same network as the heading sensor, it can be selected as the heading sensor.

Hook it up, than.
Step 1: Check to see if it works. (Home > Settings > Init. Setup > Sensor list.. Does the device show up?) If not, check your connections.
Step 2: Select it as a data source (Home > Settings > Init. Setup > Data Source... Select "preferred" for heading and select the heading sensor.

Hope this helps, :sail
