Great format for getting my pre-purchase questions all sorted out.
The TZT seems to have been designed for surface OR table-top mount while the TZTL was originally designed for surface mount only (the gimballed stand looks to be very much an afterthought). i am wondering if the TZTL will stand up as well as the TZT to the many times it will be set up, taken down, stowed away, set up etc. As i have not had the opportunity to see either of these in the flesh, i would really appreciate an opinion from folks who have and, especially from owners of the TZTouch2/TZTL.
thanks in avance :think

Hermank,

Each of TZT and the TZTouch2 has advantages over the other. The TZT9/TZT14 already comes with a supplied Bracket/Assy, and their cabling would be the easiest to remove for this unit.

The TZTouch2 line was originally designed for a flush mounting applications, So you must purchase a Bracket/Assy separately for both of the TZTL12F/TZTL15F units if you want to dash mount these units. Also keep in mind the TZTouch2 comes with extended pigtails for NEMA2000, LAN, USB, and the Video Input/Outputs cables.

;)

Thanks for that
how about trim around the unit to prevent damage when taking it on and off the cradle and into/out of storage etc.
thanx again

Hermank,

Both units are built to good high quality, so that there is no risk of damage from removing these units repeatedly from their Mounting Bracket/Assys.
