About to pull the trigger on a TZTouch2 .
My boat is a 290 sundancer and i am in the great lakes.
Not much into fishing but afraid of losing an anchor on submerged logs.
Maximum depth about 50 feet.
need a transducer. :think
Any ideas, please?

For your needs and the price, I would say the 525STID-PWD is most likely what you are looking for.

Depending on your hull I'd stay away from a TM and go thru-hull. My TM couldn't hold bottom over 25-28 MPH on my boat and had others tell me they had the same issue. Then again it could be because I have a planing hull because guys with other boats never had an issue.
