transducer identification and use with a FCV-628

Hi,
I recently purchased a new FCV-628 to replace my 15 year old 6100 that finally died. I have a bronze thru hull depth/temp transducer that I believe is a B45. It was purchased in 2002.The tag has long since vanished. It is 4" long x ~2" wide with a mounting stem a little under 1" in diameter. my best guess it that it is a 525T-BSD??? Does that seem right?
It has a 10 pin connector.
Is this a good match? I hate to replace a good transducer if I don't have to.
What selection do I make in the menu? "600W transducer"? I don't think that model number is specifically listed.
Will I lose any of the features of this new unit by using an older transducer?

thanks,
-Sammy

SammyTX,
Your description sounds like the 525T-BSD so you should be fine programming the FCV-628 for that transducer.

Indeed I found that transducer in the list. Somehow I missed it previously. Thanks.
Ready to go and find some fish now!
