Temperature in Data Box

If I connected a Maretron NMEA 2000 temperature probe to my backbone, would its data output be selectable for display in a databox on the side of the TZT14 screen? The Maretron literature say it outputs PGN 130310, 130311, and 130312. How about setting an alarm point?

I want to be able to monitor my refrigerated fish box temperatures.

If the Maretron temperature probe outputs 130310/311/312, it may be possible to display one temperature reading (as if it was from a fish finder) in a data box on the side of the TZT. One would set the sea surface temperature (SST) source to the Maretron device under Initial Settings-Sensor Source. If the temperature is displayed in the data box on the side of the screen as "SST", then an alarm can be set under Menu-Alarms. Since there is only one SST that can be selected at a time, it probably won't work for your application because you appear to want to monitor several fish box temperatures at once. You may be better off getting a monitoring system designed to do what you're asking. It's possible Maretron already has such a thing...
