Will this transducer work with a tzt3? Im guessing this transducer is not a 12 pin required by the tzt3.

Yes if it has the Furuno 10 pin on it, you would just use the 10pin to 12 pin adaptor that comes with the TZT3 MFD. You would select the 1kW:B175HW in the transducer setup screen.

I just noticed that there are a bunch of single band chirp transducers now listed under the tzt3 9". Will these work with the 16' as well?

The TZT9F uses a 10 pin transducer. Most of the single freq transducers supported can also be used with the TZT12F/16F/19F if you used the provided 10 to 12 pin adaptor that comes with the MFD. If you have TZT9 with connected transducer as long as it is part of the network, other MFDs will have access to that sounder without moving the cable to another MFD. In case of TZT9F malfunction or removal from the boat, the transducer could be moved over to another MFD (using the appropriate provided adaptor)

Thanks! my system consists of 16 and tzt2 12". And i have the adapter. Since im fishing in freshwater and not in deep water a single band is more appropriate.
