Sounder display

I am wondering how to get rid of some of the wasted screen that is below the sea floor. My display seems to always draw the sea floor in the middle of the screen while in auto depth setting. I would like for the sea floor to be near the bottom of my display.
I can take some pics if needed.

It almost sounds like you have your screen shifted because typically the auto settings would have the bottom depth near the bottom of the display.

Buckshot, what sounder are you using?

Many of the sounders have a feature called Bottom Zone. This bottom zone will tell the display where to put the button when using Auto Range. So if the bottom zone is set to mid-screen, when using auto range the bottom will always try to be drawn about mid-screen. Sounds like you may need to adjust this feature and tell the sounder to display the bottom closer to the lower portion of the screen.
