Hi, I am new in this forum. I am Chris from Malta. I would like to upgrade my fish finder on my boat, which I mainly used for bottom fishing using long lines(fishing in depths of 100-350mtrs mostly) What are the options there is? I heard that there s this new technology where the chart gets updated when searching new fishing grounds.

If you are just starting to look around you will find that there are a lot of different sounder and plotter options to consider. While we can offer suggestions, they may not be the best for your vessel and your fishery. Do you have a local Furuno agent in your area? If not, maybe we can recommend one closer to your area.

I’m also new to this forum. My dads side of the family is from Malta, I hope to head back there soon to visit family. I’d like to hear about the fishing there.
