sog and cog flashing

tztl 2 7.01 software, cog and sog are flashing on and off every 5 seconds, at any speed or heading never used to do this. has 8 sattilites in view.
any suggestions? thanks

It sounds like someone has removed the default smoothing settings for the GPS. What is the HDOP reading on the sat status screen. What is your primary GPS source set to in the data source page? What is the data damping for COG and SOG setup for?

after looking for the info you mentioned above, while fiddle friggin with menus ect.. i found the COG and SOG was set to "tztl15f", once i set it to "gp330b", everything was good.

i do appreciate the help as to what to look for and where to look.
