Not every update for the TZT2 will update all the components. Some features and functions get updates more than others. For example, you mentioned V5.03. In that version there was an update for the internal sounder, however you would have to go back to V3.01 before you saw another update for the sounder. So it really all depends if the update is a major revision meaning the first digit changes, example V4.01 to V5.02. That was a major revision or if it is just a minor revision in changing the digits behind the ".", example V5.02 and V5.03.
As mentioned before, many times some features like updates to the radar or sounder or not in a minor revision, sometimes they are not even in a major revision change.
Easiest way to figure out if you have the latest update is to check our website for the product and look at the software history. That document will explain what occurred in each revision. Run a self test on the TZT2 to see what revision your system is running.
