Software update for TZT2?

On the parent site, there is a new software update called "Built in Fishfinder v1.09, Active Captain POI v1.06, eGuide, Base Charts". It is dated update Sept. 2019.

This is not on the FurunoUSA site that I could find under the TZT2 Software download tab.

Is the above data contained in the 6.21 release, or is it a new update that should be installed?

Please see the link below that can will allow you to download TZT2 software Version 6.21. I believe 6.21 has the sounder updates you are looking for. Additionally you cannot update to version 6.23 or 6.26 without first loading software version 6.21. So I would start there.

I'm already updated to 6.21, and have read the software update history.

My question was that a newer software update is showing on the parent Furuno site, dated September 2019, but not on the USA Furuno site. This software is listed separately, along with separate installation instructions, from the 6.21 version listed there. https://www.furuno.com/en/support/uploader/

The 6.21 software history does not list the sounder or active captain version numbers, so it is not clear to me if it contains what this separate update contains. More confusing is why it is on one Furuno site, but not another.

The first page of instructions show you the folders that come with V6.21 from the Furuno USA site. FEC has a separate download for the sounder update. We include the sounder update in the same download file, it is just in a separate folder. So when you download from Furuno USA, you get a compressed file. When the compressed file is unzipped, you will notice that you get: Part 1- OS and App update, and Part 2- Sounder, Base World Data, Sirius XM Marine Zone, and E-Guide.

yes you are correct we don't have the sounder version on the History Document. You can do a self test in the menu to find out what version you are running.

Furuno USA has a separate download for the Active Captain Data: See below.
