Size of SD card for Furuno 7000F

I am just about to pick up a Vertue yacht which has a Furuno 7000F plotter, GPS etc.

I want to upgrade it to the latest software version. The instructions say to use an SD card and mention a ScanDisk 64MB card. I have 2GB and 8GB cards. Will they work?

The reason for updating is so that I can replace the radio with a RadioOcean radio that has AIS, and feed this to the plotter. Apparently this can only be done with V3.0 upwards software version.

The machine will read a 2GB (SD card) or LESS once updated. Early versions of software would only read up to 1GB.

You will need a 1GB or less SD card to update the unit with. Like this one...

It will NOT read larger SDHC cards like the 4GB, 8GB etc..
