side scan offshore?

Any real use for the chirp side scan in over 50 feet of water? I have seen it in action in 10 to 20 feet and it is impressive but not sure what you would see in 100 feet?

I've mapped a wreck in 70 to 90 feet of water.
I've also been out fishing offshore and used it to see where the bait fish or predators were while trolling, worked great for that.
I'll see if I can post anything or if marketing is going to use it all.

i'm more interested in how it would work in 1000' plus for just looking at the top 50' of water on either side of the boat.

Thanks, that is a great screen shot. I do not think I can even find the correct location to mount the side scan on my boat. I will look it over better when I go on the hill to install the Dff3d ducer.
