Settings Furuno 526T-HDD Transducer

Hi,
I have a Furuno GP1971F paired with a Furuno 526T-HDD 1kw transducer. What settings are people using for shallow and deep water?

For shallow settings I recommend most GP1871F/GP1971F Operators to use MANUAL, and the High Frequency Setting and adjust the GAIN accordingly.

When you get to a deeper range greater than 300' ft then use Dual Frequency and re-adjust your GAIN again. I only use the AUTO for a General Navigational Depth reading, but then change it over to MANUAL when looking for any fish targets.
