Is it possible to run a second station with a sounder or screen using the same transducer as the 1st station? In other words, just a screen display of the 1st station sounder in the tower?

Fishin mogul,
If you have a Network sounder yes i.e. VX2, 3D or TZT. Our smaller sounders don't have remote capability, they only output NMEA 0183 for digital depth and temperature.

I have an mfd8, connected to a nmea2000 backbone, and an nmea 2000 gps sensor. I just picked up an 1150 and would like to connect it to the mfd8. Can I just connect the 1150 to the nmea 2000 backbone with another tap? Or do I have to get a hub?

thanks

When I posted, I hadn't been to the boat in awhile and didn't have the mfd with me. Managed to get down there yesterday, and realized that the mfd drew power from the nmea 2000 backbone, so the network port on the mfd was available. Connected the 1150 to the mfd via the network port, configured it into the mfd, and it worked great.

thanks for your time
