SCX21 USB Configuration

Hello,

I'm trying to configure my SCX21 using the SC setting tool and a US Converters USB to RS485 / RS422 converter. After wiring everything up and using the AccessPort Serial Monitor, I'm able to see all of the incoming data streaming in from the compass, as expected. However, when I try to use the SC setting tool software, I get an error telling me it "Failed to connect to the antenna unit." Has anyone experienced this before? It seems that the compass is transmitting its data perfectly fine, but for some reason the software isn't able to connect to it. Any tips on how to troubleshoot this would be much appreciated.

is direct link to the written instructions for the SC tool program. It really sounds like the converter is not being seen correctly by the PC or the wiring connection isn't correct between the three devices (PC/Converter/SCX21)
