Is the heave PGN a proprietary one? We have a Simrad Precision 9 compass that outputs heave data PGN 127252. Does our TZT12F (TZT2) built in finder use it?

Looking through the installation manual and brochure, it looks like we accept PGN 65280 for heave information. I don't see anywhere where we accept 127252 for heave.

TZT2 internal sounder is not supported by heave.

Thanks. 65280 is a proprietary PGN, but it doesn't matter in my case because the TZT2 internal sounder can't compensate for heave anyway.

Just wondering if you have a TZT2 and TZT3 on the same network and the internal TZT 3 sounder is used as the network sounder and has heave compensation with an SCX-20 available on the network, will the TZT 2 display then also be able to show a heave compensated sounder picture?

Yes, the TZT3 internal sounder supports heaving information from the SCX20.

I am about to buy a TZT9F but it is not 100% clear if the TZT9F will utilize the heave data from the SCX20 to compensate the internal sounder image.

Based on a previous comment it sounds like the TZT12F/16F/19F support this, but can anyone confirm heave compensation operation on the TZT9F internal sounder?

Yes, the TZT9F will also provide heaving compensation using the SCX20.
