I've recently purchased a 58 Enclosed Flybridge sportfisher, and starting to plan my electronics upgrades.
I run MaxSea but I also want a dedicated MFD for additional functions, and as backup if the MaxSea PC fails.
I've seen the list of recommended (tested) screens that will work with the TZT2 black box. I'm trying to not spend unnecessary dollars on screens. My bridge is fully enclosed with tinted windows.
I can't see in my situation the need for marine rated screens as I need neither the brightness nor the waterproofing for the location they'll be mounted in. I'm therefore leaning toward some regular 22-24" touchscreens.
Does anyone have any experience or recommendations with regular screens that will work with the TZTBB or TZT2BB?
