How about an ethernet Sat compass based on the SCX20/21?
Would make computer hook up quite easy and plenty of Furuno instruments / displays also have ethernet.
For computer use now, I have to either spend a big sum on ngt-1-usb and nmea2000 network to hook up the scx20, or spend a bunch of time wiring on 0183 cables and tinkering with the software to get the data i need into a 38.4k stream with the scx21.
