Red + on radar display?

This red + appeared a few times today, no target in that area and I don't recall seeing it before or could find anything in the manual
. Usually disappears after a brief time, but at least once it remained for quite a while

No remote or mouse of any sort.

No CSH10 sonar or anything that accounts for a cursor? Because that is what it is. It is a cursor for something.

No CHS10 either. One thing I seem to recall, when I selected a target on the full screen radar, I recall seeing that cursor show up on the chart MFD. I couldn't experiment further, lots of crab pot floats required full attention.

I don't recall having a target selected on the chart MFD when the cursor appeared on the Radar display....
