Record tracks as a default setting

Hi--
Is there a way to record tracks as a default setting? We had that feature on a previous system, and are finding it hard to remember to set tracks on each trip (particularly problematic when the system reboots without warning...).

I believe the latest version 3.12 now does this. There is documentation in the software update section for the TZT.
