Hi, looking for what I hope is an easy fix??

Our RDP is wired to a CSB200 Comar AIS unit and was working fine with AIS data displayed on plotter and radar.
We had some new DSC VHF radios installed and now we have lost AIS data on the radar.
Still works perfectly on the plotter, looked through all setting on the RDP but no luck.

Any advice greatly appreciated as its driving me nuts, Cheers

It sounds like you have lost the heading to the display.

The plotter doesn't need heading to show AIS targets but your radar does. Maybe someone turned off the heading source (like your autopilot).

Cheers Johnny, Thank you for your reply, we don't have an autopilot, just a gp32 gps unit and fluxgate down below?

Would either of these supply the heading?

Many thanks Alan

The fluxgate is a compass. It should have been provide heading.

If your flux gate is working, you should be able to see the heading in degrees at the top of your radar screen. If heading is there, then someone most likely turned off the AIS so not to display on the radar. Check your TARGETS - AIS is setup to display from the radar roto-key.
