RDP 149 indicator line

I’m having an issue getting the red indicator line showing the correct direction the boat is oriented. It’s stuck in North up and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get it moving.

It’s hard to explain without a picture, I’m going out today so maybe I can upload a photo of what I’m talking about.

We have correct heading and position, just that darn red line won’t move.

Are you talking about a radar overlay screen on the plotter, or running only a straight radar screen? It almost sounds like you are talking about the course vector line of the plotter. (MENU - PLOTTER SETUP - COURSE VECTOR LINE) You might try turning that setting to OFF and see if that is it.
