RDP 149 Change Plot Lines

I have a pair of RDP-149s (C-Map) that work splendidly. My only interest is in finding out if one can change the appearance of route lines created when creating and displaying routes. The tiny gray arrows that display are difficult to read while underway. I’m use to the Raymarine plotters where I could change color and line thickness. Having read the manuals, I can’t find a similar function. Does such a function exist for my 149s?

MENU - SYSTEM CONFIG - SYSTEM SETUP - TEST & CLEAR - MEMORY I/O TEST - DISPLAY UNIT TEST (or at the bottom of the boot-up screen)

You have version 3.01 software for Cmap with boot loader 4. It is old. I would recommend you consider updating you unit to the most current version posted on the website.

Sorry to be such a neophyte. I inherited this gear. I’m used to raymarine and garmin.

No specs for updating in any of my manuals so I’m assuming I need to somehow connect unit to a computer to grab the download and load into devices? Unique data cable?

The RDP149 was sold as part of many Vx2 model. To make it easy just use model "1944C/NT" on our website to bring up the product. That model is a C-map programmed Vx2 radar system using the RDP149 display. When you have the product page open, click on the box near the photo of the unit that say "View support/Tech info". That will take you to the support page where you should see the "SOFTWARE" tab. Under that tab you will find written instructions and software that you can download for free. You will need the "CCFL" software version for your display (based on age).
