RDP-142 LCD display not working

Hello,
I recently installed a Furuno radar 1715 along with the display RDP-142.
When I power up the unit I can hear the beep and the backlight is on but there is nothing else showing on the screen, no pixel at all.
I can adjust the intensity of the backlight through the menu so I am assuming the unit works but the LCD is faulty.
Any idea to fix this issue?

It would be best to send the unit into the Furuno service but likely the LCD would need to be replaced. The 1715 has been in production a long time (no longer) so there are different productions of the display so they will need to see if they can repair it. FUSA seems to have the older production LCD in stock so the odds are high they can offer a repair solution.

Thanks alot for the feedback. Do you know if some other displays (more recent models) would be compatible with the dome RSB-0095 (and its built-in cable) I have?

The low cost 1715 dome only works with the 1715 display. There are no upgrade or downgrade options.
