PSU-008 Issues

The fuse in the power supply unit blows everytime I go to Tx. I have found that this unit has sustained water damage. Upon looking on the net for a replacement I find that the PSU-008 pictured looks different to the unit I have installed. The ones on the net have a connector socket for the scanner cable. The unit I have has all the cables comming in from the bottom and connected via the PCB. Has there been a change in PSU design?? and if so how do I go about connecting my original scanner cable to this new unit?

There has been no change to the PSU008.

The unit with the connector, that I think you are discribing is the PSU005.
