Problems connection a TZT14 to a TZT9 MFD

Hello, I have recently installed a TZT14 MFD and everything works great (I currently have a DRS4D Radar Sensor wired through the LAN cable and I am using the GPS features with a 330B GPS Antenna). I have added a second MFD - a TZT9 and I have connected the two devices together with just a LAN cable (and I have 12v power going to the TZT9, is this the correct way to connect these two devices? I am not getting any of the Radar or GPS features on the TZT9? It powers up without any features available. :sorry

If you have NMEA 2000 bus with the GPS connected to that then both displays should also connect to the NMEA 2000 bus (along with them both connecting via Ethernet). If you are using CanBUS connection inside the DRS4D radar and don't have a normal NMEA 2000 bus then yes, the two display can be connected by only the Ethernet.

Thank you for the fast reply Mr. Johnny Electron, Yes I do have a NEMA 2000 backbone set up for my network, I will connect the TZT9 to the backbone and should be all set. Thanks again. :cool
